More Bubblews Changes

There are some very important changes happened at Bubblews this week. I thing all these changes will help stability of the site and also will weed out most of SPAM. I think Bubblews is becoming a one of those really good choices you have if you want to earn money online. It's not good or stable like AdSense but it might get there eventually. I have to say I'm happy about most of these new changes.

The first change which happen nearly week ago is they have changed the redemption date again. Now if you are a US, UK or Canada member then your payment will come in 30 - 35 days. For everyone else it will take 60 - 90 days. There are exceptions too. If you are an international member who has been around for a while and never had any kind of problems or caused a problems then you will get your payments in 30 - 35 days too. I have mixed feelings about this. It's not good redemption time getting longer and I think system can be and used be improved.

Latest change is they have added new features to Bank page. Now you can see a list of your redemptions there and also they have added a form for claim missing redemptions. It ask the amount, date and you can added a screen shot if possible. I think a screen should could be a great help and everyone should take a screen print of their bank balance before hitting green Button. This is one of the best changes they have done so far. This will clear lots of payment related problems and misunderstandings. I hope they will also provide the reason if they are not going to pay.

Another change I noticed was View count is no longer visible. Now you can see only amount of Likes and Comments you have in your posts. They say this change is to stop manipulation but still we get paid for those views we receive.Also Bank no longer show total amount of views, Likes, Comments we have. Now this is not a change I'm happy about. Now we have no idea how many people have visited our posts or anything. I was wishing they would start providing more stats rather than taking of these numbers.

Anyway in general I think these can be counted as improvements. Looks like SPAM problem is totally under control and no more frequent downtimes. Also the system looks lot better. Maybe they have hired better developers. There are few more things I would like to see like less time for redemptions and also other Payment methods like international checks and Payoneer.

Bubblews Down

Yeah it's down for more than half day now. You can see a message in their home page saying "The site is going through some scheduled maintenance.". Well it happens and I hope that's the real reason. Because their payments are really late these days and they even made an announcement saying there is a delay in payments. I posted about one of my delayed payments few days ago and their support said it will be released in next few days. But now it's like 2 weeks and still nothing. Another redemption should have been released yesterday. No news about that either. Well but I guess it's just really a delay some kind of.

They had made so many improvements to their system and site. Specially about dealing with SPAM but they need some serious improvements in payments area. Released dates are getting longer and longer. First we would receive payments in 72 hours and minimum payout was $25. Then They increased it to $50 saying that way they will able to pay faster. But then they announced Payments release 30 days after hitting the green button. No wonder people having doubts about their system.

Some members who are missing payments are text book spammers. I have seen someone complaining about his missing payments and saying he need to have that money to send his kids to school. Well okey that's too much and his kids are his responsibility and the site doesn't have to send money just because of that. I was curious and checked his posts. I had to admit he probably won't get anything since post quality is terrible. There are people like that too.

Bubblews really need to redo their payment policies and system. If they don't pay because of bad quality posts then they should point blank said that to to member. Something like we don't pay you because your post quality is bad, if you keep making bad quality posts then we will kick you out of the site. Giving them a reason would reduce most of those complains and it would get them to pay for those who make really good posts and still hadn't get paid. They can become one of the best sites for earning money online but their management seems to be still not upto the task.

Bubblews Has Become Better

I really do believe they are becoming better. I will be more sure about it in few days. I have used Bubblews more than a year and received almost all payment. There are 2 payments pending which are the last two. Only down side is we have to wait for 30 days to receive the payment now unlike 72 hours in early days. But now their support has become lot better. I contacted them about one of my payments and received a reply within 24 hours. After 3 mails everything was sorted and I was told the payment will be receive in several days.

Maybe things have changed. Apart from few things I think most of these changes will be great for the site and users. Now there are more automated restrictions to spamming is pretty hard for both humans and bots. You can save posts as drafts and publish later. There is a built in image library so you don't have to worry about copy rights. Also now Notification system is better and also we can now see who follow us and who doesn't follow.

Still Bubblews is not something you can consider as replacement for a full time job. But you can learn $50 - $200 per month with the site depending on your follower base and how active you are. It works great for those who work from home, house wives and retried senior persons. If you are looking for way to earn money online fast then Bubblews should be in top of the list even though it's not so meting you can develop for long term goals.

You must have a Paypal to get paid. There are no other option. Also 2 people from same house can use the site and earn money. But you both must have separate Paypal accounts to receive money. I think it's a good change so now you don't have to worry about getting banned for using same IP address.

Money I earn from it helps me with many things like paying for online services like web hosting also for buying stuff for my hobbies. Now I can spend around $50 per month buying stamps. It's a good investment I think since most of these stamp I buy are somewhat rare or has a big demand.

Squidoo Sold To HubPages

Yesterday was a shocker for all Squidoo writers because the owner of the site announced it's sold to HugPages which is the main competitor. I saw this coming years ago when They had started changing things. Everything they did to get rid of spammers only worked other way. They successfully got rid of most of quality writers from Squidoo and the site was keeping going down. So I stopped using it since last year and even predicted Squidoo won't last long.

They haven't send any mail about this or given members a chance to do anything about their lenses. They say you can export all your content but their so called "export function" is not working at all. I don't think old Squidoo owners want people to remove content since HugPages wouldn't want to buy a blank site. Right now I don't think there are many who want to move to Hubpages. Also they seems going to keep money of members how haven't reach minimum payment.

Well the problem is there aren't too many alternatives out there either. HubPages is not somewhere you can learn like at Squidoo. There's Bubblews which might be a good place to start again but don't expect to learn a lot since their model is different. Also I have heard Zujava which is similar to Squidoo has lost their Amazon account too. Now there are so many people who has  nowhere to go.

There aren't too many places where you can earn money online. If you are a Squidoo or Zujava writer who is wondering what to do next then you have two solutions. You can buy a domain name and hosting space and start your own Wordpress blog which is the best thing you can do. Cost would be around $20 and maybe $3 per month. 

If you can't afford paying that or want a free solution then you can try Google Blogger which is free. But you need to be careful with Amazon affiliate stuff because they are very touchy about these sites. Sometimes they delete blogs for "SPAM" or ban from Google search engine saying "pure spam". You need to built your blogs carefully if you decide to use Google Blogger.
