Minions

Yesterday I watched the movie Minions. As the third movie of Despicable Me I can say they have done well. This time the movie is all focused on Minions. You don't get to see the evil genius become good guy or his three cute kids. But movie show you from where these guys have come from and everything. But I have to say I really miss Gru the ex supervillainn.

Despicable Me is a one of the once in a time gold mine a movie company gets. This movie series has taken hearts of not only preschoolers but also adults. Not just movies but also there are big line of products earning them more profits.

Minions movie has earned $1.019 billion so far and that's after a $74 million budget. Over 900 million profit from the movie alone. Despicable Me had earned $543.1 million and Despicable Me 2 had earned $970.8 million. None of these movies had a budget over $77 million.

Despicable Me 3 movie will be released in 2017 and we don't know much about it yet. But you can bet it will be good at these three.

The Losers (2010) Movie

 watched this movie called The Losers today. From the cover of DVD I thought it maybe a comedy so I bought it. I haven't heard about this movie before or seen trailer in Youtube. Well I should have known better. I don't think the movie is good at all. Even it was a average budget movie I felt like its a B movie.

Well it's really not a movie that I can say action or thriller. Not something I could compare with movie A-team. Also miles below the quality if you compare with the movie The Tournament.  There are few good actors such as Chris Evans and Zoe Saldana but I have seen better from them in other movies,

If I have to rate it this movie gets 4/10 from me.

Interstellar (2014)

I watched Interstellar (2014) movie few days back and I have to say I'm really impressed with it. After watching the trailer I expected lots of spaceship stuff but the film was not all about that. It's something totally different. It's not my usual cup of tea but I enjoyed the movie very much. No point to of talking about the whole movie and spoil it for those who haven't watched it but I have to say it's a really good movie to watch. It has a good ending but I expected even a better one.

It reminds me that no matter how we boast about how developed we are from those stone age times, nothing has changed. Still people kill each other and only think about them selves. Countries which call themselves developed spend trillions on when there are more pressing matters out there. We called our selves Homo sapiens sapiens but do we really deserve it ? We are probably  " Homo sapiens " and light years away from the next milestone of evolution.

God Must Be Crazy

I watched this movie for probably the 10th time since I watched it for first time years back. It's not a Hollywood movie or one with all those popular Hollywood celebs. It's a South African movie with a cast you might have never heard of. It;'s also an old movie which was released in early 80s. There are two movies God Must be Crazy 1 and 2. Both movies are great. It's hard to believe something so simple and made with such a low budget could be high quality. Movie posters or Trailers don't show you much. Even first 10 minutes won't impress you. But more you watch more you will start enjoying and understand the movie.

The story is about a Family lives in Kalahari desert who has no knowledge of the world beyond. They don't have anything man made like cloths knives. In desert they don't have even rocks. They live simple but totally happy lives believing their God provides everything they need. Then a strange thing falls from sky (A Coca Cola bottle) which because something so helpful first but later created endless amount of problems. So they decided to get rid of it. The guy walks to end of the world to throw it away and on the way he encounters so many strange things strange people and huge and loud beasts which people ride.

I love this movie just like my all time favorite StarWars movies. It's hard to explain how cool these two movies you just have to watch and understand. It gives you food for your thoughts and let you think about many things. If you are searching for something different from main stream movies then here's what you are looking for. It has no big action or fights or romance. But it makes you thinking about the life and let you to look it everything in a new way.

Here's the Trailer of God Must be Crazy the first movie. It's not HD so you might wonder what the hack but I'm sure you will enjoy the movie. At least you if you have a mind which can see through lines and understand it. Even if you can't it will make you laugh. That's for sure.
